Taking a short look at your bio, I've got the impression that most of your education was practice-driven (church, Army and lots of settings and bands).
However, what do you think about jazz education and jazz? Do they have worldwide importance or they're just «passing fancies and in time may go»?
Is our jazz here to stay, in other words?)
